This is a specially blended, old barrel "Port style" wine. Pour it over vanilla ice cream or enjoy it straight up as a delightful finish to a meal. Unlike the typical 375 ml bottle for Ports, this wine comes is in a full 750 ml bottle.
The 2017 Sauvignon Blanc offers up notes of gooseberry and toasted nuts. It has a medium, grassy palate with a medium finish - more complex than your typical Sauvignon Blanc.
Medium to deep purple in color, the 2015 Cabernet Franc is scented of red currant jelly, crushed black plums and red cherries. It has a chey, stewed tea texture with a lively acid finish.
This terrific dessert wine was made from Alicante Bouschet grapes. The fermentation was interrupted with the addition of fortified alcohol at 8 Brix. The result is a wine with a lovely velvet texture and sweetness.
